The aim was to create a package design for a new range of high-end bathroom amenities that would suit the personality of a boutique hotel keeping in mind sustainability and environment.

I chose to make a soap pouch. The material used was jute. I separated the jute into individual threads and knit it. 

I have always loved jute as a material and I find it to be a very sustainable packaging. Since it is knitted, it is very sturdy and it is very pretty to look at. 

Jute is a material found in nature. It has no added chemicals or artificial colouring. It in no way harms people or nature and is completely biodegradable. This pouch can be reused easily. If I found this in a hotel, I would love to take this home.
